Oh No!! You're makin my ears hurt. A dampener is a tool to make something more wet or damp. Like using a spray bottle of water to make your clothes damp so you can iron them well. A tool used to absorb or offset vibration or wave motion is called a DAMPER. Shock absorbers on your car are effective dampers. get it? good.

Plans for similar models are at outerzone.com, try the Gym Dandy or the Hanger Rat. Another design is the Blatter 40, not at outerzone. These are intended for indoor flying. They will do fine outdoors IF the wind isn't blowing.

Excellent tutorial, i am new on building balsa wood and i have read that CY glue is very fragile and not the best for using on balsa models. Can you please comment on best glue for small balsa models like mini stick? Is there a similar alternative that dry faster but is not that fragile? Also what is the type of scalpel knife you are using and where can i buy it? Thanks

I see in the video that your t pins have some sort of black circle on them, which I am guessing makes it so you do not have to put the pin through the balsa and split it.could I get some detail on those where to get or how to make them

Funny how ever video shows how to glue paper on balsa (an obvious step) but none shows the correct process of taking the wrinkles out. Having a hard time with this step. After gluing the paper, looks like everyone is applying water to shrink the paper. Not happening to me. Upon drying, the paper shows more wrinkled then before.

Great video, never thought of covering the edge on the stab like that. Unless its really difficult to get to I normally use an Ez-Cutter on the first surface, makes a neat cut with just about the right amount of tissue left to cover the edge, cheap as chips too :) Love the checkerboard tissue, Esaki (sp) right?

Thanks for this. The materials and process used for tissue and willow construction is so lame. My spouse suggested that I watch this for ideas on how to do things quicker, better, faster. WIN.
